National law firm Lane Neave has enhanced its commercial property practice, and bolstered its partnership, with the appointment of new Wellington based Partner, Sharon Skinner.
Sharon joins Lane Neave’s three other commercial property Partners, and 13 other legal specialists in this team, forming one of the countries strongest national commercial property law practices. The appointment brings the total number of Partners at Lane Neave to 24 across the firm’s four locations in New Zealand.
Sharon has extensive experience in all areas of commercial property law, with specific expertise in large scale developments, leasing, acquisition and disposal, public works and Treaty of Waitangi related projects for both corporate and public entity clients.
Managing Partner, Andrew Shaw, said the appointment reflects Lane Neave’s expansion in the Wellington market as the firm further cements its reputation as one of New Zealand’s national top tier law firms.
“I am delighted to welcome a market leading Partner, Sharon Skinner, to the firm at a time of expansion for our commercial property practice,” said Shaw.
“With a number of large high profile developments to her credit, Sharon is considered by her peers as one of Wellington’s leading experts in commercial property law.”
“Appointments such as this are important as the firm continues to grow nationally and Sharon will help us meet the increasing demand for legal services in the Wellington region.”
“We are fortunate to have attracted an outstanding commercial property lawyer with a proven track record in working with large scale projects and with strong private sector networks.”
“This appointment will also enhance our connection with the large number of All of Government Agencies, with Lane Neave being one of the panel members.”
Before joining Lane Neave, Sharon worked for another large national law firm and later owned and managed a boutique commercial property law firm in Wellington.
