Lane Neave features prominently in this year’s Best Lawyers in New Zealand guide, with six Partners recognised in various fields of expertise, and one named Lawyer of the Year.
Managing Partner Andrew Shaw has been named as a Lawyer of the Year after receiving the highest peer-reviewed feedback in Christchurch for the practice area of Labour and Employment law.
Three of our Auckland Partners have been recognised by their peers – Fiona McMillan, Evelyn Jones and James Cochrane, along with two in Christchurch – Graeme Crombie and Anna Ryan.
It’s the second time Fiona has been recognised for her expertise in Labour and Employment law, while Evelyn has been recognised for the fifth time in Banking and Finance. James has received praise for his expertise in the fields of Arbitration and Mediation, and Litigation.
Since 2008, Graeme has been recognised in the field of Information Technology law – and this year is no exception. In addition, for the second time he has been acknowledged for his work in Privacy and Data Security law. It’s the fourth time Anna has been recognised for her expertise in Intellectual Property law.
This is the 16th edition of The Best Lawyers in New Zealand, which celebrates the prowess of 601 lawyers practicing at 159 law firms across four New Zealand cities.
Shaw congratulated all of his Lane Neave colleagues, saying the peer recognition was an accurate reflection of how highly regarded they are in the legal profession – nationally and internationally.
“Everyone at Lane Neave is committed to delivering the best possible outcomes for our clients and this acknowledgement is a great indication of the talent and dedication of our teams.”
