Community

At Lane Neave we are proud to be able to support a variety of charitable causes and community projects throughout New Zealand, through fundraising, sponsorship and the provision of pro bono legal advice.

In 2020 the firm charged our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee with building a “ground up” programme of CSR that tapped into the social issues and agenda identified by our people.

Through engagement with staff, the Committee identified our key CSR values, with a refined focus on the need to advocate for:

• environmental causes to protect our planet for present and future generations;
• equal and open access to healthcare, and the promotion of health and wellbeing;
• diversity and inclusion in the workplace; and
• strong and connected communities.

We have identified and connected with three amazing charitable organisations that embody the above values. Those charities are:

• Conservation Volunteers
• Yellow Brick Road
• Great Potentials

We aim to help them in a way that best serves their needs, through a combination of fundraising activities, direct donations and pro bono legal support.

These three charities are doing amazing work in different ways, throughout Aotearoa New Zealand, and it is a privilege to be able to support them.

In addition, we continue to support a wide range of other great organisations, including:
