Amelia is a Senior Solicitor in the litigation and disputes resolution team based in Christchurch. She began working at Lane Neave as a summer clerk in 2019 and joined the litigation team after graduating with a Bachelor of Law and Arts (Political Science and Media Communications).
Within the litigation team, Amelia advises on a variety of matters arising from contractual and commercial disputes. She takes a clear and considered approach to her work, using her research and drafting skills to seek pragmatic solutions and draft a range of bespoke documents.
Outside of the firm, Amelia holds a directorship of a start-up company which bridges the technological divide for older New Zealanders. This experience gives Amelia the necessary insight to deliver practical advice to corporate clients. She enjoys working with both corporate and private clients to provide solutions to complex legal issues that are easy to digest.
