Julie is a Notary Public and an enrolled Barrister and Solicitor, and is based in the Christchurch office.
In her capacity as a Notary Public, Julie has been authorised by the Archbishop of Canterbury in England to witness signatures, take declarations, swear affidavits, certify document copies, and authenticate New Zealand-issued documents for use overseas.
For most documents intended for use outside New Zealand, the signature of a New Zealand lawyer or Justice of the Peace will not be recognised by overseas authorities. A Notary Public, as an internationally recognised and authorised signatory and witness, is required for these functions.
Julie was appointed a Notary Public 1996, is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Notaries, and a member of the New Zealand Society of Notaries. Read more.
Julie is available by appointment (including weekends and after hours). Please contact Julie directly on 021 617 409. You must provide your passport or driver’s licence as identification. If the document is not in English, a translation is optional. You can request a translation from the Department of Internal Affairs (click here for further details).
